South East Devon

Dog Friendly Hotels in SE Devon

The Editor-in-Chief

The Editor Says: Although a lot of the beaches in South East Devon tend to have a ban on dogs during the Summer months (unsurprisingly), there are one or two we can still visit all year round such as the one north of the pier at Teignmouth, and also nearby Ness Cove. And, anyway, it isn’t as if there aren’t loads of other things to do. Dogs are welcome (for a small charge) to snuffle about at Bicton Botanical Gardens, and you can always go for a wander along the fabulous coast path including the “Valley, Ridge and Jurassic Coast” at Sidmouth. In fact, I once nearly broke my legs zooming around like a plonker in Sidmouth. Launched myself off the top of a hillock at 35mph. Those were the days.
