The Editor Says: I’ve got to be honest and admit that I haven’t got the first Scooby Doo about North Somerset and Weston Super Mare except for the fact my grandad (human, not canine) used to be in the RAF there a long time ago. Anyhow, a bit of paws-on-keyboard research tells me that the beach between Knightstone Island and the Pier is dog friendly all year round. And that’s where I’d be heading if I went.
